Recently on a trip to Singapore, I came across Bazin which is located on the Bayfront and is part of The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands Complex. During the Singapore heat, finding a nice place to take a rest after walking around the City is often needed. Whenever I’m in Singapore, I usually find myself heading to the Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, to take advantage of the great shopping while cooling off under the AC. I had noticed Bazin, which overlooks the waterfront on previous trips, but had never actually tried it. I was looking for somewhere to sit down and just enjoy the day and Bazin seemed like the perfect place.
I’m quite ambient driven and I guess and what I noticed when I first entered the restaurant, was the cute interior decor. Bazin is decorated in a contemporary style which somehow feels quite homey. The restaurant features both al fresco and inside dining areas, which you can choose from. It really is the perfect place to have a cool glass of Sauvignon Blanc, which is exactly what I did. I found it so relaxing to spend an hour or so at Bazin. I would really have liked to try their International cuisine, but seeing as I had already eaten, I will to leave that for my next trip. Whilst at Bazin I sipped on 2 glasses of Louis Felipe Edwards Pupilla which came to 24SGD.
I would advise anyone who is visiting Singapore and around the Marina Bay Sands area to stop in at Bazin. I know that I will be back next time I’m in Singapore, to try out what looked like a super yummy menu!
